Christo and Jeanne-Claude兩位大師巳年介七十又三，但堅持保持藝術創作的原創意念，不接受任何資助，免除任何對創作原意造成影嚮的勢力，以直接出售原創草圖作創作及製作經費，過程既艱辛且漫長，五十多個環境裝置創作方案中，只有十八個獲得各地方政府批準，各項目動員數百人，創作及籌劃為時經年。兩位大師的環境裝置創作，不但改變人們對平常環境的視覺經驗，亦增強曾到訪者對某地方的印象記憶，更揭露了大自然不經意地流露的力量，為科技發展提供新創意及視野，其毅力及各工作人員對藝術創作原意的堅持及頁獻，實在不能以世俗法來衡量。
Christo and Jeanne-Claude's creations alter people's perception on an ordinary environment, enable people to feel the power of nature and deepen people's memory of a specific location. In order to avoid any unnecessary influence on the originality of the creations, both 73-year-old artists never accept any grant, sponsor or commission on creation. All creation, production and installation are funded by 2 artists' direct sale of their working drawings. There are 18 projects out of 50 plus projects were approved by local governments to make come true. Even though each involves huge production costs with hundreds of workers and professionals, years of preparation and tones of materials, they still insist their principals. Their contribution is out of materialistic value and their insight also inspire a lot of environmental scientific development. Just the most pure concept of art.
